We moved to the Bay in Aug, 2007. We are enjoying our new boating home and friends, the 2008 season was a learning curve for new boating trips.

The expanded boating area and the clear waters of the Bay are making boating seasons very enjoyable for us. It’s a short drive from our home to Oconto, in a few minutes we can be out on Green Bay with Sturgeon Bay only 12 miles away. It will take quite some time before we can exhaust the new sources of entertainment on Green Bay. Islands to boat to, many marinas and harbors. All the activities at Door County and in the UP make a very enjoyable time.

We will start planning trips and weekends well in advance for each boating season, as there are many new places and events we would like to take in.

Scope

We previously maintained a site with boating information for Lake Winnebago and have offered to donate the materials to a new site named “Boating Winnebago”
