OYC FEES

Club Fees For 2009:
Outline of what the costs are and what you get for the fees. This is the current 2009 rate.
Gas Price for 2009 – We have locked in our price at $2.30 per gallon for “Members Only”.
( OYC purchases it’s members fuel on a seasonal contract basis.)


Seasonal Dockage:

  • Keeping the area neat is the member’s responsibility.
  • You are to keep the weeds out of the bank.
  • Most have a small flower garden by their boat, this is permitted.
  • You are allowed to bring your pets – they do need to be sociable.
  • Your children or grandkids are welcome to camp – they are your responsibility.
  • Dock locker – most have them, they need to be the same type used by the other members.

Haulout – Winter Storage – Spring Launch:

  • Haulout – We have four members that will run the lift for you. Normally we pull the boat, leave it in the slings while you power wash it.
  • Power washer is available for a small fee.
  • Winter Storage – Most place their boats on foam blocks with jack-stands on the sides. Member is to provide this equipment.
  • Other members will help you cover and heat the shrink wrap.
  • All three items are included in the price.
  • Example – A 30 ft boat will cost $300.00 to Haulout, Store, and Launch.
  • OYC does not provide the shrink-wrap.

Membership Fees – What’s included, and members responsibilities:

  • Pump-outs – all attachments are available.
  • Shore power – Member provides cords. Cords are to be kept in good repair.
  • Water – Member provides hoses and any regulators they deem necessary.
  • Restrooms – Members are reminded to keep it clean and pick-up after themselves.
  • Showers – Spray cleaner and Squee-gees are provided to keep the showers clean.
  • Lounge area – TV with cable are here for your use. Please keep the magazines and area neat.
  • Bar – Honor system at the register. The cooler is well stocked, clean your glass, and crush your cans.
  • Kitchen -  The kitchen is fully stocked, you are responsible for cleaning the equipment you use. Members replace items they use.
  • Washer and Dryer – These are here for your use. There is a nominal charge that you pay at the register.

Payment Schedule:

  • Initiation Fees – At time of Acceptance with Membership Fees.
  • Membership Fees – Membership Fees are due no later than the February monthly meeting.
  • Seasonal Dockage – Dockage Fees are due no later than the March monthly meeting.
  • Haulout * Storage * Spring Launch – Paid in the fall along with fee for power washer if used.
  • For those on trailers, there is a city ramp near-by.
  • Bidding on slips is done at the March meeting, you must have your Fees paid to participate. Current members will lose their rights to the slip they have if their fees are not paid prior to March 1st.
